The TRS Summer Countdown and Bikini Tip of the Week

Wow, only 50 days til it is officially summer! And here is the bikini tip of the week to get you ready! A few simple, cheap and effective weight-loss tips from the pros:

1. Jump start the day with fruit. You're telling yourself today will be a healthy day!
2. Eat carbs before sundown. Start your day with more carbs, then taper them down as the day progresses, (your jump start fruit in a bowl of oatmeal is a great example)

3. Cut back on the sodium. Most people can easily loose 5-7 pounds but really watching their sodium intake, as our bodies tend to hold water, and more of it with the more sodium we have.
4. Get more sleep! Sleep deprevation leads your body to produce low levels of leptin and high levels of ghrelin, two hormones that affect how full you feel. 7 to 8 hours of sleep tends to stop the overeating problem.
