"There's always time for a bikini fashion show come rain or snow, said Melanie Michaud, owner of the Graffiti Beach pop-up shop. On Feb. 20, the weather forecast predicted heavy rain in Costa Mesa, Calif., where Graffiti Beach was scheduled to produce a 40-look beachwear show at The Camp specialty retail center.

'I told everyone that they needed to do a sun dance,' Michaud said.
